FAQ

What do you read for pleasure?
I read a lot of Science Fiction and Fantasy. My favorite authors is Mercedes Lackey. Which I know is continents away from what I'm currently writing. I also write non-erotica/fetish works so there's that.

Describe Your Desk:
 It's a mess.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
California. In a very religious setting which for a lot of people that sounds bizarre. There are patches of conservative religious people throughout the country including California.

When did you first start writing?
When I learned how to write well enough. Before that  drawings with detailed explanation as to what is going on with the images. I have always enjoyed writing.

What's the story behind your latest book?
I wanted to write about a college student who curiosity got the best of her wanders into a literal underground sex club. My favorite stumble upon but fully embrace a situation.

What motivated you to become an indie author?
Boredom and due to the erotic topic I wasn't sure how the hell to market that.

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Creating characters and having weird motivations for things.

What are you working on next?
Continuation of Hazel's trip through the underground sex club. I recently finished Allison's Elevator Fun. It's in the freeuse alternate universe that I developed specifically to write erotic fiction. She's getting ready for her first date -- she hasn't had one in awhile things don't go as planned. It is currently 99 cents to purchase.

I'm as of February 12th working on more in the freeuse universe focused on one type of library system that was developed in this world.

Who are your favorite authors?
Kelley Armstrong & Mercedes Lackey.

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Food, family and life in general. I am currently living the hustle trying to get enough of my writings done and ready for customer's purchase.

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
At work or reading or both.

Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
No, I wrote a lot as a child and we moved a lot so I never kept track of that. Plus, growing up it was never encouraged as a career path because writing is just a hobby. But I want to make it more than just a hobby.

What is your writing process?
Think of characters and why they do what they do. Then outline it and follow the outline. Keeps me focused on the story and not to veer off.

I spend a lot of time thinking about different erotic settings and ways this alternate reality would function and things that happen in it. Basically, what I do with my general not-erotica stories but with a lot of sex.

How do you approach cover design?
My covers are created after I've finished the story and they must relate in some way to the erotica. I use Pixabay because they are creative use even for commercial use. I tend to want the stories to have a non-erotica look but with my library series I am changing that up slightly.

Not that I am embarrassed about the writing that I am doing but it's something I want when I am purchasing erotica online. I doubt I am the only one.

What is Freeuse and how is it different than Noncon-con?

Freeuse is basically women or men being available sexually whenever and wherever. This is often in stories where consent is 100% between every adult. It is not consensual nonconsent material as everyone is 100% consenting to this.

My freeuse society may look and vary different from someone else's but for me it's availability to have adult situations with other adults freely always with 100% consent.

This Reddit explains it better here.  << Obviously there is going to be 18+ material if you click this link.

Someone else already writes Freeuse material...

That is like complaining about yet another science fiction that is in space and questions human existence. I feel the more the merrier because it's fairly hard to find things that are out there that cover this fetish.
